Hello. I don’t suppose you can send me the schematics for the Compaq A900 series? I’m having problems with this particular laptop. I think the DC charging circuit is busted although I couldn’t find any physical signs.
I already checked the AC adapter. The unit runs on batteries but never on AC.

I need to find out the resistor value for R9 on the charger board in an inspiron 1545. Any chance you could check that for me? I can’t measure it because it was destroyed:( It’s the resistor connected to the charger jack sense pin.

After an ac adapter repair for my dell inspiron 1520, the laptop no longer runs on the ac adapter (even with fully working and tested ones) nor does it charger the battery – yet the laptop only runs on the battery ?! Any idea ?!
